Photo Dump

The kids were acting goofy and dancing one night, and I love this picture I was able to capture.

Fun Weekend!

After Charlie's & Sammie's birthday party on Saturday, we spent Sunday at the state fair, the park, and a block party (Jeff skipped the last to go to a concert).  Fun day!

The kids had to wear matching shirts because last year when we went to the fair, Daddy couldn't go with us because he was in Arkansas.  He brought back these t-shirts from AK, so the kids "had" to wear them to the fair this year.

Gearing up for the rides!
It took her a while to warm up, but she loved the rides!
Driving a fire engine
This was how Joey spent most of the fair.
Between the fair and the block party, we headed to the park.  The face stickers were courtesy of the fair
The kids could not keep their hands off of each other during the block party.
Hello Kitty!  What a great addition to the block party!

Happy Birthday, Charlie & Sammie!

We celebrated Charles Joseph's SIXTH birthday, and Samantha Paige's FOURTH birthday, at SkyZone in Fishers - a great place full of trampolines (even the walls were trampolines!)  We are blessed to live in the same place as them and watch them grow up.  Happy birthday, Chacha and Sammers!!

Kids

Partners in crime; cuddling and watching TV.  Mickey, I'm sure.
They love cuddling.  Their new favorite thing is to cuddle in Mel's bed in the morning as they wake up.  Since Joey can't leave his room on his own, this is Mommy-instigated...but they love nothing more than to giggle together.

Classic pose; watching Mickey and eating pizza in nothing but a diaper and Mel's flip-flops.  He caught sight of the camera and gave a big "cheese!"
Joey busted his lip twice in one day; first by falling in the gym at school, and then by tripping at the pool and hitting the chair.  He was a trooper!
Santa Joey!
I haven't updated on Joey much lately.  He is now talking nonstop.  He would prefer to sit in his recliner and watch Mickey Mouse to just about any other activity.  He can count to 11, loves to read books, do or say anything his sister does or says, and gives good kisses and "I love you"s.  He has a stubborn streak; while he seems to share well at school, he does not like to share his toys at the pool (most recently, he gathered them all up and stood in the corner with his lower lip jutted out).  Every time he's asked what he's had for lunch (or dinner, etc), his answer is "pizza."  He loves to be tickled, loves to dance, wear his sister's shoes, and take baths.  He's wearing 2T shirts, 18 month pants, and size 5 diapers (shows an interest in potty training, but I'm not fully committed yet).  He also loves motorcycles and mailboxes.  He is an excellent sleeper, and so I know he and I will get along great :)  He's pretty hilarious.

By the time this picture was taken, Mel and I had: eaten breakfast at McDonald's and played on the playground, played at the library and picked out books & DVDs for the upcoming weekend, gone to the Monon Center water park for a few hours with Ellie, Molly, and Wyatt, gone to the neighborhood pool, and then to the library carnival.  As we went to pick up the pizza for dinner, I finally got the "Mommy, I'm sleepy" face.

Mel making Poppy's birthday card.  It was all her after the first "P-O" prompt by Mommy.
She's such a goofball.  I have a bunch of shots of her opening the shower door and posing with random items from the shower.  She loves to take showers by herself; it's quite the excursion.
