Happy Birthday Super Ron!

Dinner at the kids' table

Making a mess with Grandma & Papa
On Sunday evening, we headed to "east Carmel" for dinner for Papa W's birthday.  I'm having trouble uploading the video, but each of the kids had a guess as to how old he was turning.  Joey - no guess.  Sammie - 80.  Melanie - 80.  Charlie - 68.  None of them were correct, but I think the boys are in better graces with Papa at this point.  Happy birthday Ron!  We hope your year is full of many blessings!

Princesses & Pirates

Taking turns on Mommy's lap

$15 paper tiara (came with cotton candy).  Thank you Grandma; otherwise they would not have had swag!

Dancing along

The weekend after Halloween, we went to the Princesses & Pirates event at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.  I was hopeful the kids would dress in their pirate costumes, but no such luck.  Grandma W went with us, and it was a great show!  It opened with Doc McStuffins, and featured scenes from Sofia the First and Jake & The Neverland Pirates.  Three constant shows on our TV!  A good time was had by all.

Walking hand in hand with neighborhood kids in the parade
Trick or Treating was delayed by a day in central Indiana, due to bad thunderstorms on 10/31.  So we set out with the neighborhood gang on 11/1.  Similarly to the Westons, our Trick or Treating kicked off with a firetruck-led parade, and then the door-to-door excitement began.  Joey was in a great mood, and had a good time getting out and about.  As we usually do, we were home early, and spent the majority of the evening handing out candy to the rest of the children.  We didn't have all of our typical Halloween activities (parties, Colts event, etc), but hopefully next year we'll be back in the swing of things!

Pre-Halloween

Having fun in a costume Aunt Jean brought the kids
I think I want this one!

IU Health North annual Halloween festival
More interested in food than picking pumpkins = Steroids
Showing "some" interest. As long as he gets to keep his popcorn
While Joey didn't want a pumpkin, Mel was determined to get him one.  Even agreed to carry both to the car!
Worzalas carving pumpkins
Hard at work
Sammie being a big help
Looking somewhat happy, which was rare during the month
Melanie worked hard on her pumpkin layout on the front porch.  Complete with the craft table stool.

More outdoor time

Uncle Randy giving Mel a ride at Char's soccer game
Whee!

I'm not sure what they're doing here.  This is in our driveway.  With a lot of blankets.
Fun on the swings!
Not super excited about his private pumpkin-patch tour with Gigi & Poppy
