In an effort to "catch up" with the blog, below are a few highlights from February. We spent every other weekend in the hospital, and Melanie couldn't visit because of hospital/flu restrictions, so she did a great job getting shuffled around before and after school on Thursdays/Fridays, and getting handed off between us, grandparents, and friends on the weekends. Joey got to go to his preschool Valentine's Day party, after not having seen his friends since his September diagnosis.  |

| One week before her sixth birthday (2/24/14), Melanie lost her first tooth! It came out with coaching from the rest of her class at the beginning of the day, and she got to wear it in a necklace all day for safekeeping. |
