Being an Adult

For Aunt Barb's 70th birthday, we had a "girls' night in" at Diane's house.  Staying the night was awesome, especially since BOTH kids were up at the same time overnight.  Super Daddy had them taken care of!

I don't even OWN a little black dress, that's how long it's been since we've gotten cleaned up.  We went to the Neurosciences Center gala, to celebrate my new work building, while Diane watched the kids (and loaned me a dress!)
The kids were actually around for this one, but these three couples have been out to dinner in the last month, and then had a kids' dinner at our house, where the kids actually went and played and we could actually have real conversation!
Laura, Ali, and I volunteered at the recent "Alive on 65" event, and got free tickets to the Gloriana/Sara Evans concert (that night) for all of our "hard work."  Gorgeous night for an outdoor concert!
