JPW's life

Having some fun at Uncle Randy & Aunt Cory's
Joey can go from complete melt-down to calm if he spots a puzzle and can begin work.
This looks like we're playing that relay where you carry an egg on a spoon.  He apparently made up his own game!
Enjoying his gift from Grandma & Grandpa Worzala

Joey, at two, is a true two-year-old boy.  He got two "incident" reports for injuries at daycare just last week - and has skinned up both of his knees over the weekend.  He loves to be outside, still loves his cottonballs, and is a good cuddler.  He has been talking quite a bit, and we love watching his vocabulary grow each day.   He loves to point everything out to us - "Mommy, look" is heard a LOT.  At Joey's two-year appointment, he weighed 24lbs, 6oz (12%), and was 35.25 inches (80%!)  He is wearing 18month pants, some of which are still too big in the waist, 2T shirts, and size 4 diapers.  He continues to show interest in potty-training, but we haven't pushed it much.

Melanie spent the night at Molly's on Friday night, and it provided Joey the opportunity to be the only kid at the house.  It was interesting to see how laid-back he is without Hurricane Mel around.  He continues to be a good listener, he's shy around other people, afraid of animals, does all of the animal noises, counts to 10, and sings along with familiar songs.  He also loves to dance.
